This edition is certainly a bumper edition of Kiss & Tell, and proof that Spring has really sprung. We're seeing so many new and familiar faces coming into the salon to wash away the winter blues and brighten up and lightening their hair and day with a new look!
Hard to think, but in just over three months it will be Christmas (Insert nervous face here as I don't even want to think that far ahead!) That being said, now is a great time to start planning ahead for the silly season and try out your new look in time for all the festive get-togethers! It's also a great time to start thinking about getting those little pressies here and there to lighten the load come beginning of December. BELOW: Before and after shots, after we applied a T Section of foils with some soft money piece highlights framing the face. We then styled the whole look with a loose half up formal hairstyle.
BELOW: Today our client just wanted a fresh new look for spring! Don't you think she rocks this amazing new look, and not to mention, just how much fun does it now look!
BELOW: Tick-Tick-BOOM! This blonde bombshell has gone off! Check out this amazing transformation we've accomplished using a full head of foils coupled with a soft De Lorenzo toner to both soften and reduce the warmth to create this explosive result!
BELOW: Forget 'all party in back!' this gal's rocking an 'all round party' now! She's said goodbye to the mullet style and within just 30 minutes, she now has a hot new modern, fresh look that's bound to give her back a 'spring' in her step!
BELOW: Sometimes all you need is a freshen up! Here our client achieved just that with a double ash dark blonde at the roots and then we finished it off with a scattering of foils that are super soft and blend in to the darker colour with ease!
BELOW: Here is another great example of how a fresh new look can bring new life to a tired style. Once again we lightened the root area and blended in the final colour to create this magical result. The finishing results are soft, silky and glimmering with shine!
STAFF
Here's another insight into what our staff get up to on their time away from the Salon. Recently Demica, our Senior Hair Stylists, attended a training session where she related the following.
"I spent seven hours with a creative edge stylist and they educated and helped me expand my knowledge and guided me on how to perfect and personalise style cuts throughout this course I learned how to remove excess weight in a haircut to create texture with multiple techniques, while maintaining the styles initial structure. I’m so glad that I gave up my day off to attend this amazing course, and thank you to my awesome boss for giving me this amazing opportunity!"
Let the games begin!
The Friendly Games that is. This is a series of competitions whereby Apprentices, Trainees and Full Time Certificate III Hairdressers all compete in a friendly environment. We are pleased and proud to announce that we have a few entrants this year. The girls are putting in so much effort and extra hours so here's hoping they enjoy themselves there and do us proud. Either way through, we're proud to have such a strong, vibrant dedicated team here in our Salon. Be sure to show them your support on your next visit!
